Most the marketing I see comes from the telcos who flog the service to make the phone a phone.

You should look around a bit more.

I wouldn't say that Samsung products are POS. Some might disagree but I
build my opinion on first hand experience here. I've had a Tab 2(10.1)
over two years now, used it almost daily and still se little or no
degradation in its performance or finish. Further, it looked like an
iPhone 6 two years before that phone was launched...
