Question about color analyzer
I recently bought a used Omega SCA-300 color analyzer. I only plan to use it for exposure readings on B&W prints.
Can anyone help me with instructions on just how to use it or post the relevant pages from the insruction book which Iddin't get? Thanks |

KBH photo in Canada can provide you with a manual for C$12.

Subject: Question about color analyzer
From: Date: 12/17/2004 2:02 P.M. Pacific Standard Time Message-id: uHIwd.279$152.204@trndny01 I recently bought a used Omega SCA-300 color analyzer. Thanks That analyzer has a grossly oversensitive cosine correction. I suggest you use it in the "scramble" mode. Place a groud plastic over the lens. Place the meter in the center of the easel. Now you don't have to use the cosine corrections at all. Just calibrate for a just pure black and you have it.
