I don't know about you, but before I photograph a liquid of any kind I
chill it to a fraction of a Kelvin*. Unless, of course, I am looking
for the artistic quality that Brownian motion can impart to a photo of
a nice cuppa.

*Doesn't work with helium.

Could have been a problem with wet collodion plates - but not so much as
the drips coming out of the camera ...
