Repair for Zeiss lenses
Alarmed by some postings in this NG for some weeks ago I checked the
shutterspeed of my Zeiss Planar 80/2.8 and Zeis Tele TEssar 250/5.6. And found out that only the shortest speeds until some 1/15 for the Planar and until 1/60 for the Tessar seems to be right. Gave them too little attention I suppose. BUT: I can't find those postings anymore on the newsserver and I didn't made copies either. So, my question is: Does anyone knows where to look for these postings or advice what to do best with these lenses. Thanks hans |

Contact Hasselblad in Utrecht , or by telephone: 030-2411616 (algemeen), 030-2411601 (service)) and ask their repair department what an adjustment will cost. Should you live anywhere near Utrecht, or don't mind a longer trip, i believe you can visit them too and have your lenses tested to see if the shutterspeeds are indeed off, free of charge. Ask them first. By the way, i bet you that your Tele-Tessar either turns out to be a Sonnar or is not a 250 mm lens. ;-) |

You're right it is a Sonnar. Sold my Tessar 350 some years ago because of the weight. Still not over it. hans |
