High ISO. Sometime you have to ask, "why?"

The shoot the scene above at 12,500 ISO. Then talk about how there is 3 stops of recoverable information at that ISO. But the question is, why would you bother pushing that high in a scene like that? With good IBIS, that scene could easily have been captured at 800 ISO, so why use an ISO that despite recoverable detail? Everything is highly compromised. Your DR drops to about 8 stops, colour shifts, noise is very high, compared to 800 ISO. https://www.dpreview.com/articles/54...affic_so urce high ISO for rapidly moving scenes also? -- Minister Dale Kelly, Ph.D. https://www.dalekelly.org/ Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner Board Certified Alternative Medical Practitioner |
