Looking for an ICC profile for Epson Premium Presentation Matte on SC-P800
Epson used to have one. I know because its ghost remains in the now
unrecoverable Recycle Bin of an old HDD. I've tried searching the various major Epson sites around the world but haven't been able to find a downloadable copy. There may be one in regional driver downloads for the printer but that is playing Russian Roulette. I would be grateful if someone could point me to a site where I can find the profile, either that to an equivalent more readily available profile. -- Regards, Eric Stevens |

You might be the victim of OS updates so you will probably need to reinstall a fresh copy of the P800 driver. You might also need to check your Adobe settings to make sure that paper/printer profile options are checked in the appropriate dialog box. Anyway, I have located the following, which might provide some info: https://epson.com/Support/Printers/Professional-Imaging-Printers/SureColor-Series/Epson-SureColor-P800/s/SPT_SCP800SE#iccprofile However, until further notice Epson seems to be running with a minimal COVID-19 ‘skeleton’ crew. I guess there are folks who consider photo printers non-essential in these tough times. https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/missing-icc-profiles-for-my-epson-sc-p800/td-p/9653898?page=1 ....and this one which seems to be a frantic search or a solution: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4040966 -- Regards, Savageduck |

One problem is that Epson provides different driver packages, containing different sets of profiles, for different parts of the world. But thanks anyway. https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/missing-icc-profiles-for-my-epson-sc-p800/td-p/9653898?page=1 I think that's Mac. Windows doesn't work that ay. ...and this one which seems to be a frantic search or a solution: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4040966 You will find me in there somewhere too. :-( -- Regards, Eric Stevens |

Does the same thing apply to ICC color profile files? If I am offered a color profile from a Mac (which may well happen), can I install and run it on a PC (Windows 10). -- Regards, Eric Stevens |

I don’t see why there should be a problem. The icc profile is part of the dialog between LR/PS and the printer. If that is your only option then try it. -- Regards, Savageduck |
