A HUMMER WITH NO FLASH?

I was impressed that the guy who runs the Nature Center immediately identified this guy as a Juvenile Red-Tail Hawk. http://www.pbase.com/bret/image/80708578 Can you post a larger version of this photo (say twice as large dimensionally)? I don't get the "fan" of feathers behind the hawk. (Another hawk?) |

Noons says I NEVER post full-size images, but I'll post this full-size crop just for you, sweetie. http://www.pbase.com/bret/image/117465560/original.jpg Hope you don't find the watermarking too intrusive. Gotta protect my property, dontcha know. I don't get the "fan" of feathers behind the hawk. (Another hawk?) No, it's just one hawk, fanning his feathers and doing a bit of stretching. They do this a lot before they ever fly. Interesting. Didn't need the watermarks really. Still too small to print. Pretty crappy bokeh, actually and a lot of purple fringing and CA going on too. |
