Bob (or anyone)

Will this one fit the IV or V 4x5?

It won't fit any Master or Super or Technika 45. It only fits the Aero
Press, Aero Electric 23 and the Press 70 (not the Technika 70). These
were 23 Technikas that advanced film and cocked the shutter by rotating
the right hand grip down and then back up or, on the Aero Elcectric by
motor wind.
This back coupled to the film transport in the camera via the gear wheel
you see in one of the pictures toward the bottom of the listing. The
round black ring is the mount to attach the back to a Technika 23 or a
TK 23. However the gear only allows it to be attached to one of the 3
cameras mentioned above.

The Press Cine Rollex was available in two format sizes; 56 x 72 was the
common size and the same as the Cine Rollex backs. Also available on
special order was 57 x 57mm. This was not available on the Cine Rollex
version.

In addition the Cine Rollex for 23 and 45 Linhof cameras was lever
wound. This back is internally wound via the gear train so even if you
found a way to modify it to fit a camera other then the 3 listed above
there is no way to wind the film.

Normally if you have a 23 Super or Cine Rollex you can buy a spare shell
and switch the insert part to another size camera. Or you could buy a
new insert for a different format size to use in your shell or you could
buy the 67 220 insert to replace in a 67 120 Super Rollex. But this
version being offered here only fits on one of the internally wound 23
Technikas.

So save your money.

BTW, the correct name for this back is the Press Cine Rollex. You want
the Cine Rollex. Linhof has discontinued all versions of the Cine Rollex
as well as the 70mm cartridges. However we still have some cartridges in
stock. We also have a 6x6cm 120 Super Rollex for the 23 cameras still in
stock.
