I have scanned negatives for which I had no holder using my Epson 3200 by
just setting them on the glass and turning on the upper light. The scanner
only wants to do one at a time...but that is not a big problem.

I will be scanning some 8x10 glass negatives in the next couple of
weeks....its the first time they have ever been scanned and might be the
last time for a hundred years....talk about pressure! And mold has gotten to
them....I will have to be careful.
