REMOTE FLASH ( the rest of the story )
My remote flash trigger came in the mail today.
It's a cube ( about 1" around ) with a tripod socket on the bottom, an accesory shoe on top, and a sensor on the front. Dug out my old Vivitar 2000 strobe loaded it with ni-cads, and slipped on the "trigger" Took a few pics using my Nikon L4. DAZZLING ! This is like firing an old M3 flashbulb. You could take pics in a coal-mine. OOPS..... pics show no improvement. ???? I fussed around with the menus on the Nikon, and found a flash setting that works with the remote. SUCCESS !! Definitely a solution for taking pics in "the large dark room"... using the P&S camera. rj |
