You won't find any in Joshua Tree itself. The nearest towns are Yucca
Valley and Twentynine Palms. Do a search for those cities.

My error. Was thinking of the Nat'l Monument. On-line searches do show
up lodgings and accomodations.

BTW, it's now a National Park, not a Monument.

That seems to be happening a lot lately. 'National Park' used
to mean something very, very special. Now reclaimed industrial
sites and bottom land qualify.

It seems that every sub-par school, division or corporation is
now a 'Center for Excellence'.

If something is truly excellent, it doesn't have to advertise the
fact. Imagine the banners: "MIT: A Center for Excellence",
"Harvard: Bringing out the BEST in every student!", sound pretty dumb,
don't they?

Got "Excellence in Education" banners flying all over the
place here in South Euclid. Last year the High School
didn't get one single student into a top-tier school and
the library seems to be missing 2/3rds of its books,
if empty bookcases are anything to go by.

The school board president declared "A 4.5 average won't
guarantee you will get into college any more"... Yup, a
4.5 from her school system doesn't mean a damn thing anymore
- that's just how excellent it is. I'll wager, though, that a
3.0 from Andover will get you into just about anywhere.

Mandatory On-Topic Question: Can everyone post the detailed
pros and cons of developing Tri-X in each of the developers
listed in the really humongous development chart?
