New photo printer R1800

Hi

I was just looking at the specs of Epson's new R1800 A3+ photo printer
which uses the gloss optimiser ink set found in the R800.

I'm wondering when this technology will come to replacements (R7800 and
R9800??) for the Stylus Pro 7600 and 9600? I've been keeping a look out
for info on possible new wide format printers, but have not seen
anything yet (I'll put any more info I get on the '9700' page above)
