Default lensboard material

I spent a little time today at the big box lumber yard and found
some 1/8"x2'x2' board. They call it something like hardboard. Seems to make
reasonable lensboards. It's easy to cut with woodworking tools. Light tight.
Cheap. Cost me a total of $1.50 Canadian. At 2'x2' it big enough to make a
lot of boards.
