Default Mamiya M645 prob

Does anyone have an idea on how to make "B" exposures using a Mamiya
fitted a Pentacon Six adaptor and the Pentacon 300 or 500 mm lens?
There's not enough space for connecting the cable release?

*sniff*

Take out the battery and use a lens cap/hat. :-)

I assume it's longer than the shutter can deal with and very low light? Also
recall reading the 1000S version has a way of returning the mirror etc
without a battery installed, the plain M645 doesn't. You have to reinstall
the battery to get everything to reset.

You also might look around for the large format angle adapter for the cable
release. They make some pretty weird ones for using ultra short lenses in
recessed lensboards that might work. That would be the most elegant
solution.

If it's a 645E, the cable can go on the rapid winder, if you have it.

I had just decided to hack the handgrip when I found out that the power
winder has a connector for a cable release.

Pheeeewww.... :-)
