Default RawShooter essentials similar app for the Mac?

I've been using RSE today due to the More DPreview Dribble thread and I'm
really digging it. However, at home my photo workflow is heavily based
around my Mac. RSE seems to take the things I use the most in DPP, ACR, and
PS CS, and combines them in one app. For the Mac users here in r.p.d.s-s.
is there another RAW-specific app that does slideshows, has prioritization,
fill light, detail extraction, noise suppression, and something like it's
appearance function?

Thanks,
Greg

I haven't USED it but, after looking INTO it, I suspect Apple's new "Aperture"
might do what you need.

Ack, I'd buy that Stinkypix program before I paid $5 for that iView.

GT, when are you going to upgrade to a PC... ya know Billy has been
waiting for you :-P

Oh, yeah, I should have ruled that out first. From all accounts I've
read it's not yet ready for primetime. And it's got a loooooooong way
to go before it is ready.

I just need to wean Kimberly off of XP and onto OpenBSD and we'll be
free of all that MS crap.

Have a look at

http://apple.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=170227&cid=14189841 too,
I've not read the full ars review though.

One of the big problems for a lot of people is Apertures system
requirements.

I'm a fan of iView Media Pro but I don't think it will cover all your
requirements in one Application, it does however unlike iPhoto allow you
to maintain your own folder structures and intergrates nicely with
Photoshop or any other application you want to use alongside it.

Well, I nearly went Mac *till* I tried one; Wasn't impressed at all and
I found it considerably slower than my PC. I will give Apple an A for
styling.

When was that? 5 years ago?
