What would change if they did or didn't? Would your analog cameras stop working? Would it have any influence on your sperm count? Why don't you simply go and take some pictures? Ralf I do take some pictures using film. But I am also interrested in the new technology. And people here often claims that the best 24x36 films equals 16-20 MP digital. I just want to see some test which proves it. The tests I see often shows that a 6MP digital has more details than Fuji Velvia....and I don't like that :-) Max -- Ralf R. "Annika1980" skrev i en meddelelse ... From: "Martin Francis" ternet Film is dead, and we're having a whale of a time at the wake. (Bitching about how crap it was and how much better digital is) I was about to post something similar just for you, Marty, when I found this thread. Beaten to the line by a bassackward troll .... oh well. But the message is clear .... film IS dead !!! Has been for a few years. So Martin, why don't you let me put you in a slightly used Totally Digital D60? What about all the Leica M users? ....and me with my old Voigtländer Prominent from 1955....and my Nikon F? .....would you like to try a Nikon F with waist level finder? For shoting slides and fine grain B/W film is still there. The digital projectors can't match a good old Velvia slide. Max |

Just remove the prism and focus directly on the focusing screen. George |

George The waist level finder also have a magnifier glass.....and it also cuts off light comming from the sides.......else it can be difficult see the image. It is the folding type....so it also protects the screen when the camera is not is use.....and it is very compact. Then it is also a kind of a collectible. Max |

For obvious reasons: the waist level finder increases contrast by blocking stray light, and it has a built-in loupe if you need to examine the viewfinder image more closely.
