Default Film for Stereoscopic Photography

I plan to use a Canon Rebel G 35 mm film camera to take stereoscopic
photos. What kind of film should I use? I love the look of slide film,
but I understand that accentuates color over resolution. Which is more
important for stereoscopic photography?

The final form of the developed film does not matter very much to me,
because I am simply going to scan it to a computer, anyway. I would,
however, like to sell my photos, whether stereoscopic or not. I would
prefer to offer my product via computer monitor.
