As I'm sure many of you steer clear of UK media (for good reason!), you
may not have seen this:

Interesting - some super shots. I wonder how many of those were
"straight out of the camera", though? Adjustments before taking?
Processing after taking? RAW or JPEG?

As those were specifically iPhone shots, and they have a particular polished
finish, I doubt that they were SOOC. iPhone shooters who care beyond the
Instagram and selfie school there are those who use iOS processing apps such
as Snapseed, VSCO, Pixelmator, and the Adobe Mobile apps. They also easily
process their iPhone images on laptop and/or desktop.

While those shots were impressive, a quick look at the VSCO feed will
demonstrate that The Guardian had a limited sample.

I'm a paid subscriber and a donor to The Guardian (for good reason).

As for the iPhone, don't be silly. Everyone knows the iPhone isn't a
real camera and can't make great photos like those in the article.
