I don't know how anyone could read this stuff, and not laugh for days about this crap. Plus their acting head is in jail over the Park scandal. But they make nice phones, especially if you want yours to double as a hand warmer... |

I don't know how anyone could read this stuff, and not laugh for days about this crap. if you really want a wtf moment, look no further than the galaxy s4 intro that was done as a broadway show (and it was *much* worse than it sounds): http://www.theverge.com/2013/3/18/41...ehind-the-scen es-of-the-sexist-galaxy-s4-launch ...an event designed to captivate fans with Broadway spectacle, but which instead elicited sharp criticism for its one-sided portrayal of women, including a bachelorette party skit that featured women saying the S4's Air Gesture feature would be useful while their nails dried and a drunk woman ogling a shirtless gardener. The S4, watching her eyes using its Smart Pause feature, halted video playback while she took in the view. http://mashable.com/2013/03/14/stran...alaxy-s-4-laun ch-event/ to their credit, they did not repeat that mistake. Plus their acting head is in jail over the Park scandal. that too. But they make nice phones, especially if you want yours to double as a hand warmer... the s8 looks interesting, but has a couple of wtfs, such as putting the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone (a wtf by itself), but also to one side of the camera lens, a big **** you to lefties, as well as guaranteeing that people are going to smudge up the lens trying to unlock the phone. another wtf is that it will ship with android 7.0, not the latest, 7.1.1. who knows when (if) it will get 'o'. |

I didnlt get that and I;m in the UK. He must have a history... I didn;t get a warnign about malware but I did get an advert about installing a VPN. Torrents can be tracked by ease dropping the server that distributes the downloads. VPNs are great for "the man" since they can monitor more of your traffic on the gateways of your chosen VPN! The S4, watching her eyes using its Smart Pause feature, halted video playback while she took in the view. http://mashable.com/2013/03/14/stran...alaxy-s-4-laun ch-event/ The video is private, but reading the article and the comments, it looks like there's plenty to laugh about - everything from the marketing flakes to the PC scolds. Overall, though, it seems like a bit much for a cell phone. It's not like the second coming... to their credit, they did not repeat that mistake. If you want worse WTF, Lenovo seems to abandon their devices pretty quickly. I bought one of their tablets, and it remains at Android 5 - the version it came with, and will never be updated. Lots of complaints on the forums, lots of ignoring them from Lenovo. I'm done with them. |
