One of my friends is the official photographer for the museum. he
gets
rides at no-cost. ;-)

Coincidentally, it was that specific P-51D they were offering the $250
rides in. I figure it probably costs that much in aviation fuel to
taxi,
take off, make a couple of passes, land and taxi.

This year's *Warbirds Over Paso* air show is done together with Planes
of Fame Air Museum from Chino, and our local Estrella Warbirds Museum.

In reality I don't see getting out there. If we are able to travel it
will be to the Western national Parks. Most likely my wife will be on
dialysis within the next few months. All travel plans, for more than a
few days, are on hold.

Sorry to hear that. It will probably be a good idea to have a few
dialysis centers lined up just in case.
For Yosemite NP, Fresno would be closest, the Sacramento. Sequoia/Kings
Canyon NP, Visalia/Bakersfield.

Yup! It will require some planning, but nothing that we can't adjust to.
Tongue-in-cheek, I mentioned that since we will be saving money on
traveling, I would like to get the Nikon 600mm F/4. My comment was not
appreciated.
