Sinar Norma front-standard.
On my Sinar Norma Camera, there is a scale `missing` which should show how much swing has been applied, it is otherwise in fine condition, but the missing scale `bothers` me.
Does anyone know where I might be able to buy a spare scale or would I be better off looking out for a complete front Norma standard? I have found an image on the web to show what I am trying to describe, which is the smaller scale that shows 0 to 30 degrees each way. http://www.flickr.com/photos/21634030@N06/3137319260/ Last edited by Keith Tapscott. : January 10th 09 at 05:46 PM. |

Can you copy the one from the other standard on tape and apply it to the standard without the scale and then see how much you actually use it? Norma stuff is plentiful on the internet, but having to buy an entire standard may be overkill. That's a pretty good idea. Another approach would be to put an accurate level on the standard and mark your own tape. I have an electronic level that can zero to absolute level, 90 degrees, or anthing else. It reads out in micro-degrees. Not expensive. |
