Viewing photos on TV
With my old Sony Mavica, I could link up the camera to the TV to view
pictures. I have tried this using the FireWire on my Canon S400, with no luck. Anyone know if this can be done -- view pictures on the TV directly from the S400? DOUGinPHX |

I believe that a few owners of these tiny cameras asked similar questions several months ago, only realizing after purchase that their cameras had no direct-to-TV capability. Even without a manual, if the camera doesn't have the usual video mini-jack socket, it's a pretty good clue. |

Use the Video cable see page 121 This camera does not have Firewire, it has USB see page 150 of manual. -- John G Wot's Your Real Problem? |

Viewing a 4mp picture on a TV is not very satisfying, given that the maximum resolution on the TV is about 720x525 or less, which works out to about .4 mp. -- Ron Hunter |

RobG Viewing a picture from a 4 mp digital camera on a TV is bound to be disappointing as the maximum resolution on a TV is really LOUSY. Note that TVs weren't designed to display still pictures well. -- Ron Hunter |
