An ad for the Jobo expert tank #3010 says "requires Jobo lift". True? Why?

Very heavy when full of chemistry, I don't think you can pour chemistry
into Jobo drums from the top....I'll check that before saying
conclusively. Some people have used rubber hoses to fill the drums
sideways. Getting the drum off the processors without a lift could be
toil some.

The large diameter means it couldn't be used with a magnet in the way
the other drum systems can because the expert drum's centre is way above
the CPx's motor axis. Hence, the only sell it with the lid for the lift
where it is connected to the upper outlet.

Other than that, I suppose is you'd be getting awful streaks if you
poured the chemicals into the tank while it wasn't rotating.

They only come with a cog lid? At least thats the way the picture looks.
You can't use the magnet connection if the tank doesn't have a magnet fitting.

? How heavy could it be? We lift gallons of chemistry daily.

The Jobo paper drums have modified lids. They can be filled upright and
the liquid will stay in the lid and only enter the rest of the tank once
it is turned on its side. To this end, the hole in the middle of the
funnel inside the lid (that usually connects to the centre tube in film
tanks) is closed by a plug.

This only works because of the much smaller quantity of liquid required
for paper processing.
