Nope. Just a good sharp image.

Nope. Just a good sharp image.

And a sharp reflection of the scenery on the surface of the eye. I
could make out palm trees but Firefox would not enlarge the image
sufficiently to enable me to see the photographer. How is that for a
tight crop?

Third try never fails
To my eye, as a group they are ordinary portraits of birds. For reasons
stated below, I don't see some of them as well done as others. I have
also seen much better work from you.

Nice image, as far as IQ goes the best of the bunch.

the gray neck feathers are not as sharp as I would like them.

Looks like taken at noon, see the small shadow directly under the bird.
White feathers look washed out, and the black feathers are blocked. I
won't even comment about the camera angle, as that is artists choice.

To me it doesn't matter if a world renown bird expert took these. My
comments would be the same.

I thought so.

Yup! You would have oversharpened to the point of damaging the images,
but that is the way you like them.

I didn't think that was a particularly good shot just one where there
was decent IQ.

To me it doesn't matter if a world renown bird expert took these. My
comments would be the same.
