Nah, Brian Adams is ok. Now Howie Mandel is another matter. Sorry,
but he just seems to annoy me. LOL.

As far as I can see, the only difference between Canadians and
Americans is when they pronounce the word, "about". With us Americans,
it rhymes with "A shout", and with Canadians, it rhymes with, "A boot".

You will hear that pronunciation in the Appalachian Mountains in
Virginia, also; perhaps other parts of Appalachia, though I haven't
heard it. Some linguists claim that pronunciations and speech patterns
in that area is the closest we have today to seventeenth century England.

And if you can still find native outer-bankers in NC, although theirs is
closer to Elizabethan English.

Or 18th or even 19th C. English. Americans don't change speech as
rapidly as the English, at least before the advent of widespread radio
and telly.

We will be starting your Cleopatra Acceptance courses next week.

Will Elizabeth Taylor be teaching it?

Who else? Richard Burton is out of town.

I agree with you on Mandel.

I'm undecided whether Pamela Anderson, William Shatner or Natasha
Hentridge will be the cause of our country's destruction if our
southern neighbors choose to declare war as a result.

LOL! :-)
