You once told Dustin you would pay him, how did that work out?

Do you have PROOF of that libelous statement?

Yes, it's in the email exchange you had. Complete with
headers.

Dustin can forge just about ANYTHING! ;-)

Are you now going to deny the emails are yours, David? Is that the
new game plan? ROFL

I think at times, you've watched and/or read one too many
movies/books about the hacker world. You sometimes give me far too
much credit and expose your gross ignorance on the subject of I.T in
the process.

ROFL. The login was too easy, I agree. You should have taken greater
care with respect to your password selection.

Sadly, I was 'set up' ..... but it was a good learning process.
:-)

You were not set up. What did you learn from it?

Offhand, I can't think of any good reason you would 'need' (for some
metric of need) VPN service, but then I don't know what kind of hinky
activity you are into.

https://tekrider.net/pages/david-brooks-stalker.php

And pirating stuff. For example stealing copyrighted media and
uploading it to public sites.
He does it all the time. And thinks a VPN will protect him
from a court order....

That's a surprising comment. How on earth would *YOU* know?

Sadly, I was 'set up' ..... but it was a good learning process.

You were not set up.

I *WAS* set up.

What did you learn from it?

Not to trust on-line 'personas'.

Ever put the knowledge to good use?

Of course. ALL knowledge is valuable.

Uploading images to the Internet has *already* made them 'public'.

Anyone wishing to 'secure' their images must 'watermark' them.

He does it all the time.

Only sometimes! ;-)

And thinks a VPN will protect him from a court order....

No - I most certainly do not! Are you nuts?!!!

Educate yourself .......

=

Here's a quick, helpful definition...and about all you need to know
about a VPN.

A VPN is a service that you sign up for online for a small monthly charge.

Once you have an account, your VPN service should be "on" when you're
online.

A VPN, in action, takes your Internet connection and makes it more
secure, helps you stay anonymous and helps you get around blocks and
access censored sites.

The key to a VPN is that it lends you a temporary IP address and hides
your true IP address from every website or email you connect with.

It's Virtual...because it's as if you have a private connection directly
to any website or another computer you connect to.

It's Private...because all your website visits and online activity is
between you and the websites you visit.

It's a Network...because you're using a special network of VPN servers
that covers the entire globe.

Not at all. A hidden watermark is sometimes used to catch
pirates and prove copyright infringement, but unless the image is
explicitly made public, it's private.

Read the caption to this pictu

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Opossum_2.jpg

That's PUBLIC.

He does it all the time.

Why bother when YOU are around? You posted MY image on picpaste without
permission. The image is both watermarked *AND* copyrighted and you STILL
posted it on a public web site. You even asked folks at r.p.d. to help you
read the watermark, thus totally destroying your credibility and the rule
of copyright.

He does it all the time.

Only sometimes! ;-)

The smiley does NOT absolve you of your STALKING. You are a scumbag.

I'm afraid I cannot remember, but there is NO MENTION of that word
'copyright' on this VERY comprehensive list of instructions:-

http://www.wikihow.com/Upload-Images-to-the-Internet

Anyone wishing to 'secure' their images must 'watermark' them.

Agreed. :-)

Now show me the same thing for a PRIVATE image.
