by not appearing to be such a bunch of bumbling idiots. A simple
statement like "So-and-so was arrested for suspicion of lewd
behavior.", or something like that, and left the misleading photography
aspect out of it.

Yes. After reading the article, my sympathies were 100% with the
photographer and 0% with the police. It seemed like police harassment, pure
and simple......
