Default Programmable shutter/timer

Hi!

I am looking for a digital camera that can be programmed for instance to
take a picture once every hour or every 10 minutes. I would like to set up
the camera for taking pictures of sunsets and flowers blooming and such.
Does there exists cameras in the non-professional price range ( 200-300$)
that can do that?

Thank,
Jette Randlov

is .. never used it ..

The G6 is about double the price range the OP was looking for. I'd be
surprised if there exists a cam with that feature for $300 or less.

Used Ricoh RDC-5000 or RDC-5300 on eBay for under $100 bucks. Can take
shots at intervals from 30 seconds to 3 hours each. Will shoot until memory
runs out. Ricoh included an AC adapter in the box (necessary for this type
of work--batteries will run out quickly)

If the camera is near a computer, though, there are many cameras that
come with software that allows timed capture through the USB cable.
