Programmable shutter/timer
Hi!
I am looking for a digital camera that can be programmed for instance to take a picture once every hour or every 10 minutes. I would like to set up the camera for taking pictures of sunsets and flowers blooming and such. Does there exists cameras in the non-professional price range ( 200-300$) that can do that? Thank, Jette Randlov |

The new Canon G6 has such an "intervalometer" .. no idea how good it is .. never used it .. |

I'd be surprised if there exists a cam with that feature for $300 or less. Mark |

Can take shots at intervals from 30 seconds to 3 hours each. Will shoot until memory runs out. Ricoh included an AC adapter in the box (necessary for this type of work--batteries will run out quickly) |

If the camera is near a computer, though, there are many cameras that come with software that allows timed capture through the USB cable. -- John P Sheehy |
