Default Polaroid 545 backs and quickloads

I got with a used camera a Polaroid 545 back.
It included one Polapan sheet, so I used it to experiment with.
Just to see how things work.

Can the backs be used with regular Fuji or Kodak ready/quickloads?

TIA,

Collin

Yes in my experience. I consider the Polaroid holder to be the universal holder
for pre-loaded films and Polaroid films as well.

There's a very good analysis of which loads work in which holders on the
Robert White site: go to

http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/Large%20accessories.htm

and scroll about half way down the page. Basically they say that all three
loads work in the 545i, but note that unlike Kodak's and Fuji's holders it
doesn't have a pressure plate, so you lose the flatness advantage that
readyload holders otherwise supposedly have.
