Default Pentax *ist compatible with P3n lenses?

I am an avid amateur digital photographer and I am planning to make
the leap to a digital SLR. My wife has a suite of lenses for a Pentax
35mm film SLR. The camera and lenses are circa 1989. I am trying to
find out which, if any, of her lenses would be compatible with a Pentax
*ist digital SLR.

Here are the specs that I can deciper from the lenses:

1. "SMC PENTAX-A 1:2 50mm", 3559010
2. "CPC Auto Zoom 80-200mm CCT 1:4.0 MC 055", 959718
3. "052 SIGMA MINI-WIDE II 1:2.8 f=28mm MULTI-COATED", 5092156

The Pentax documentation
http://www.pentaxusa.com/docstore/file_save.cfm?thispath=cat%5F130%5C&file=istD%20Ca t%20Page%2Epdf&app_id=1
for the *ist says this about lens compatibility:
*
*

* PENTAX KAF mount compatible with PENTAX
* KAF2-, KAF- and KA-mount lenses.
* Power zoom function not available.
* K-mount lenses usable with restrictions.
* S-mount lenses usable with adapter and restrictions.
* 67/645 lenses usable adapter and restrictions.

I am not familiar with the different types of lens mounts. If you
can tell me if any of these lenses would work with a Pentax *ist SLR, I
would really appreciate it.

thanks,
pat

With the latest firmware, all can be used. You select custom function, lens
other than A... All you lenses will be cropped about 40% so your;

28mm = 42mm
50mm = 80mm
80~200mm = 120~300mm
