Olympus flash shoe question
On 2005-10-07 00:09:09 -0400, Rowan Malin said:
Here's a question for any Olympus OM-series camera lovers out the Do you: A) Keep the flash and hot-shoe together, attaching the shoe to the camera when required, or B) Keep the hot-shoe on the camera and mount/dismount the flash when needed? I'm trying to decide whether the wear and tear on the shoe (including the almost universal stress-cracks) could be alleviated by leaving it on the flash. Of course, this does mean that you need one flash/shoe/camera combination for each possible configuration! Cheers, Rowan I leave the shoe on the camera. -- Michael | "You're going to need a bigger boat." |
