Default Scanning B&W film & printing on Frontier

I was wondering if anyone has had real silver halide scanned onto CD and
printed with a Frontier system before? Were you happy with the prints?

I am thinking of either getting a scanner or having my B&W negs scanned by
the Frontier itself.

Suggestions?

Yes, but I did the prior scanning, resizing and sharpening myself.

Once you get proficient, your scans will be much better than the frontier
scanner, assuming you want to have something better than postcard size.

Suggestions?

Depending on film and output size, a flatbed scanner will probably be not
good enough.

Yes, the results were far from stellar but I wouldn't say awful either, I
had 9x6's made. I'm quite certain that with a film scanner/PS and some
personal input far better results can be had.
