Default Question on Outdated B&W Film

I just found 2 rolls of Forte Fortepan 400 B&W print film I had ordered
from B&H in 2004. They are dated as expiring in July 2005. Does anyone
have any ideas on whether it still would make decent prints, or should
I forget about it? Thanks

Supplement from original poster - I should add that the film has been
stored at room temperature since I received it.

For casual use, unless the film has been subject to very high heat or
some sorce of X-rays, to should be pretty good...maybe a little elevated
fog level, but generally OK
It might not meet expectations for critical commercial or scientific use.
If you had more than two rolls I'd say shoot one for a test, but with
only two you might as well use them for uncritical shooting.
