Kodak cx7330 vs Olympus D540
Looking at giving a camera to my son and daughter in law for xmas and
for many reasons want to limit it to an entry level camera. Both of these are available in Canada for under $200. cnd. The olympus is $20.00 more than the Kodak. I presently have an Olympus D490 which is only 2.1 mp but has performed great. I even print the odd 8 x 11 with it. Figure the 3.1 mp from either of these would be fine. Have seen reviews of the olympus and it seems to be okay for the price but have not got any feel for the Kodak. Am leaning toward the Olympus due to my experience with my camera and user comments i have read. Thoughts anyone on which is the better choice and why?? Please don't tell me to buy something different unless its price range is equal or lower than $200. cnd. If I wanted to spend more I would go to the Canon A75 but I would have to spend $70. cnd more. I also am aware that the Kodak has sound whereas the Olympus doesn't. This feature probably would never be used and is offset in my mind by the LCD viewer which in area appears twice as big as the Kodaks. |
