What format are you using it on ? I'm using 5X7.

Hi, 6x9 on a cambo sc 4x5

You certainly have more coverage than the camera movements can possibly
accomodate. http://elearning.winona.edu/jjs/c.gif

I found one of these 121's on Ebay and had considered
purchasing it for use on my Technika III. After speaking with a friend
I think I'll hold off and get the Nikon SW 120mm/8.0 which Badger has
for $995. Along with the 180 I already have and a M 300mm/9.0 and I
should be set for the 5X7 format. I might just sell a lot of my 4X5
stuff.

"...the f/8 version this lens ?"

That's a weird way of putting it - especially since there wasn't any OTHER
version that I'm aware of.

If you mean this specific focal length I can't be sure but
there are other Super Angulons with speeds faster than f/8.
These are later versions with generally better corrections
even when both types are stopped down to smaller stops.

Yep, such as the earlier 47mm F5.6 SA used on the Brooks Veriwide.

I had one of the 121 Super A's. I found it somewhat better but
a lot bigger than the 120 Angulon I had. Really, there wasn't
much difference in sharpness. I had a chance later to get a
120 Nikon SW and I ran a careful test. The Nikon was even a
little heftier, but the performance of the Nikon was far better.
It was sharper, by a lot and noticeably more coverage. Even
so, it was only a sample of one, of each. I think there is
a long post I made with all the results, back a year or 2.

He said "this lens" Richard. My answer was based on the 121mm. There was
NO version BUT the f8 for THAT lens.
