There's a difference between driving and mailing. If you want good processing, send out to a pro lab that actually handles the work of pros. Shipping is routine if you live in the sticks. |

I thought this was over and I understand that for people that live in the "sticks" shipping is routine. I'm sure that you'll agree that Chicago is a lot of things but in the "sticks" isn't one of them. There are also a number of excellent pro labs left in the Chicago area that a photorapher can go to. While I'm sure that Bob Reed does excellent work. I do know of a number of pro-labs in the Chicago area that also do excellent work. There is no need for a photographer in the Chicago area to need to send the E6 work to Denver and wait for it to be returned rather then bring it to a Pro lab in the Chicago area and get one hour turn around. I thought this was over They why keep replying, as if you've contributed to the OP? My comment was not only not directed to you, it apprently (like most things...) isn't within your sphere of photographic understanding... and I understand that for people that live in the "sticks" shipping is routine. Pray tell, oh Frank the amateur, why professional photographers in LA and San Francisco would (do) send their chromes to Denver? Must be some "good" labs in west coast megalopolitan cities? So, why? Can we end this now?? Only if you stop making silly hay... |
