Old French folding camera
Hi,
I'm trying to name and date an old medium-format French folding camera I got some 30 years agoe. But I got it used so it might be from the early - mid 50's. The only thing is says about it's origin is "Made in France", and inside there is a sticker for a role of film: "CET APPAREIL UTILISE LET PELLICUlES - LUMIERE No 49 - SUPER - LUMICHROME - LUMIPAN OU ALTIPAN". And the logo is two L back to back in a triangle. Any idea? And yes, it is more or less still in working order. Thanks. Regards/Casper |

They were quite popular in France during the '50, and Lumiere made film too, so they advertised for it in their cameras. What kind of lens is on it? I have one, maybe yours looks like it: http://www.lumieresenboite.com/colle...mi%E8re_Dialux Regards, -- Vincent Becker Photographies et appareils anciens - Photography and classic cameras URL:http://www.lumieresenboite.com |
