snip On the contrary, I found the D2X only after I followed a link to the F6 page that was posted to rec.photo.equipment.35mm. Anyway, who cares? I have already ordered an Olympus E-2! Haven't seen that one yet. For real? Any info? I haven't seen it yet either ... 8 MP, otherwise similar to the E-1. My Olympus dealer is taking orders. Apparently there is also due to be a cheaper, consumer E System body with 5 MP at a price point to compete with the Nikon D70, etc. Please do tell more! Which dealer is taking orders? |

Wonder if there will be any noise issues with an E2? There are many that
say you must have larger sensor areas than even DX to get really professional results. I don't subscribe to that--I like the idea of actually being able to carry the system somewhere without a back brace! But it will be interesting to see how Olympus copes with noise on a 4/3 sensor with 8MP. "TP" wrote in message ... "Böwzér" wrote: "TP" wrote in message .. . Better dust/moisture sealing, perhaps. More AF points. Able to use to
newest flash systems. Lighter. "Anonymous" wrote in message news:c7j2d.29726$aW5.10974@fed1read07... I can't figure out what the F6 has over the F5 other than a removable vertical grip... Surprise, surprise. Haven't checked this group for awhile but the same old
Nikon-bashers are apparently alive and well with their "mine is better than yours" childish mindset. "Annika1980" wrote in message ... From: TP http://nikonimaging.com/global/produ.../d2x/index.htm Yawn. As usual for Nikon, too little - too late. |

In a press release Nikon stated that the F5 was much too light and that the new depleated uranium body was certainly a move in the right direction... :-) -- http://www.petezilla.co.uk |
