Default Minolta X-370 Stopped

When I press the shutter release, nothing happens at all.
I can't advance the film winder either, with film or without.
I replaced the two batteries, but that didn't help.

I'm hoping I'm doing or not doing something really obvious.

And, yes I do turn it on.

Any ideas?

Fred

May be the capacitor has failed.
You can buy one on ebay and fix it yourself. Try to search "Minolta
capacitor"

Ming.
