Default HP inadequacies

Am I the only one - or does anyone else, out there, have as much aggrevation
as I have with HP products - any and all

I've just downloaded from the internet the driver for my HP flatbed scanner
and when finished it froze up my computer. this is my second HP scanner and
they seem to "quit" after a point, so that I am forced to spend great deal
of time, on the phone to HP, after paying far too much money for their
foreign tech help - when I have great difficulty undrstanding what they are
saying to me. After that much time and aggrev ation and NEVER did get the
first one to work again, I bought another one.

I could go on with this - but you've heard the gist of it -

I seem never to learn.....
