Object image not sharp
Get glasses.
John "stvlai" wrote in message ... Hi Have a question to ask all those Photographer gurus here in this forum : Q1) Product Images not sharp I shoot a Product Image under Manual Mode with 2 Strobe Lights, Background light, adjust Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, White backdrop in different combination settings and in RAW image format. Most of the images turn out to not too sharp or focus even with different settings unless I sharpen the RAW images with software. Then it turns out ok. I would like to improve the sharpness of the image taken with the SLR Camera. What would I need to do to improve the sharpness of a Product image? Any info or tips would be very much appreciated. Thank you! SLKW |

Cameras use an AA filter which causes images to be a tad soft. You can sharpen after the fact (as you are doing with your RAW files) or you can let the camera do it (shoot JPG) and then add some more sharpening in post-processing. Or, you might not have the best lens for the job. Or, you might not be using the proper techniques. |

I have read the horror stories about cameras new-out-of-the-box with misadjusted focal planes. My bet will be it's either the camera or the lens not properly set to begin with. |
