There is no increase in range. There is a smaller image area; one can get the
same "range" by cropping.
This myth of "extra reach" has gone on for far too long.
But you have to heavily crop with a FF sensor, while with the
m4/3 camera the complete sensor is used for the image capture.
So - if you use the full sensor also in the FF case - m4/3
offers a doubling of range.
