Another great video!

Will your MA2 make a GPS track as it flies?

A log of every flight is recorded and maintained. That includes a full GPS
track. It can be helpful if for some reason your drone goes down, and you
need to find it.

Anyway, here is the track of yesterday’s flight along the San Antonio
River
recorded by the DJI Fly app on my iPhone.

Every time you post something about this, that 1000 bucks is sounding
cheaper
and cheaper. Maybe when I have more time on my hands...

I have been having more fun with drone photography/videography since I got
this DJI Mavic Air 2 on a wild hair whim back in May. I just wanted to try
something different that I had never done before. I was prepared to walk away
from it if the novelty wore off, but I am thoroughly hooked.

That’s good to know. This came up when you were considering buying it.

Now I just have to polish up my production values with commentary& muzak.

Hmmmm. Well, there’s always the mute button...

I had one question, though: can the change of direction of the view be done
more smoothly?

Yes!

It seems so abrupt right now. Is there a smoothing function
somewhere in the settings?

Yes!

Or is it just the way you’re working the
controls now?

I have a grand total of 8.03 hours of flight times. A whole 93.5 miles, so I guess my piloting skills, along with my aerial videography skills have room for improvement. ;-)
