Explain what you mean by perspective first.



What a strange thing to say. Perspective has been well defined in western
art since the 15th century, at least. Look up Albrecht Duerer for details:
he's the guy who stretched little strings from a subject to a viewer's
eyepoint, then noted the line-of-sight intersections between the strings and
the plane where the artist's canvas would normally be. Obviously, the image
on the plane changes with the positions of both plane and viewpoint, with
respect to the subject.
