Yes, you can do that. But as long as you have the right plug-in you
should also be able to go:

RAW-Photoshop CS-whatever you want to save it as.

This is my workflow right now with both .NEF files and .RAF files from
my Nikon and Fuji cameras. I am looking forward to CS2 and it's
ability to batch process raw files.
