Default Be careful about photographing your kids!

So? I don't understand why this upsets people. Yes, some other people
in the world are turned on by pictures of kids. Some are turned on by
pictures of women, men, boys, dogs, or just about anything else as well.
What difference does it make? They aren't hurting your kid or your dog.

The only danger from child pornography is when children are exploited to
produce it. There is no harm in anyone looking at normal photos of your
children and being turned on by it. The fact that the _thought_ of this
might upset you is irrelevant. You can't force the rest of the world to
stop doing things that upset you. You can only draw the line at things
that actually cause you unavoidable harm.

I'm not trying to **** you off, I just want to point out that these
laws are there for a reason.

Often the laws and their enforcement betray a moral objection to sex,
not a desire to protect children. For example, laws against "virtual
porn" are pretty transparent attempts to regulate freedom of speech and
thought, since they don't involve any actual children at all.
