Default Dry-mounting Epson prints?

Is it possible -- or advisable -- to dry-mount prints on Epson "premium
photo" papers made in a Stylus 2200 with Ultrachrome inks? I can't find
any information on the effect of dry-mounting on the color or permanence
of Epson ink or paper.

I already have a dry-mount press so I'd just as soon use the same process
to mount my Epson prints as I do for my C41 prints; but if it will harm
the inkjet prints I suppose I can find another way.

There are mixed results here. The paper has a plastic coating on it and
it seems that the plastic melts at a higher temperature than laminating
film needs to make a bond so... If you can successfully laminate the
paper, you can also mount it with a heat press if the temperature is
below that which fuses the coating.

I never have a lot of success with Epson paper but HP gloss is no
problem. I now use a vacuum mounting press with EVA glue and find it
excellent. I also use "Jac" brand double sided adhesive film for small
prints. This is the stuff Ilford used to sell as photo mounting film. I
found using a laminating machine on zero heat setting rolled down the
photo to the backing without air entrapment.
