Apparently, if it were pointed at it, capable of spotting the light from a candle on Mars. And if it were used on Earth under absolutely perfect (impossible) conditions, able to resolve detail 5/1000th of an inch wide at 1 mile.

could also use the extra pixels for the 7 natural color primaries and
add white to prevent colors like pink from clipping
