Using a Digital Camera Panoramic Photography Mode
Panoramic digital photos cover a wide angle of view. In its extreme a
panoramic photo can cover 360 degrees of view. Such panoramic photos
are for example taken from a sky scraper to convey the view it
provides. Most new digital cameras provide a panoramic mode that
supports such photography.

I find using the camera for panoramic stitching indoors is fine, but
once you get outdoors in very bright light, the LCD loses its
effectiveness. I use the optical viewfinder and overlap the images as
I shoot them. Then I use something like autostitch to stitch them
together once I get to the PC.
