Not personally .... but this is what Google tells me:-

It appears so. I don't fly much. IIRC it was London to Denver and return
back in 2004 when I went to Albuquerque to visit my son - who was
teaching USAF helicopter pilots at Kirtland AFB.

why are you so obsessed with his flight itinerary?

Not obsessed but the route struck me as odd. I'd have expected him to
fly directly if possible or else via the Far East/Australia.
